Jon Hale - President & CEO

Jon oversees all Company functions with over 35 years of experience in the Coal Mining Industry. He has managed mines in Central Appalachia for Consol Energy and serves as CEO of Prospect Mining in Southern Appalachia.  Before Bronco, Jon spent 27 years at Consol Energy in various roles, including Plant Foreman, Chief Engineer, and Assistant Superintendent of Consol's Kentucky Operations. He is known for enhancing productivity while managing costs effectively.  Jon holds a BS in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Kharen Petrosyan - CFO

Kharen is an accomplished senior financial executive with a strong record of driving strategies and initiatives that generate dynamic gains in financial performance and operational efficiencies.

Kevin Birrell - VP Sales

Kevin is responsible for all sales and contract administration efforts for the Company. Kevin has more than 33 years of experience in the domestic and industrial marketplace.
Prior to joining Bronco, Kevin was Director of Transportation, Quality & Customer Relations & Assisted VP Sales for BRP and Canyon Fuel Company. His effective strategic planning has resulted in securing long term sales agreements.
Kevin holds Bachelor of Science degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah and received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.

Brad Parrish, PE - General Superintendent

Brad is responsible for all day-to-day activities at the mine. Brad has 15 years of experience in the mining industry where he has worked in production and engineering. He has worked in the Pittsburgh seven seam and in the Illinois Basin. Brad has been in several positions including Section Foreman, Project Engineer, Longwall Coordinator, and was the Engineering Manager at Bronco from 2018 to this year. Brad has a current Utah PE and is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering.

Answer:
We are essential to society today. For our way of life, we cannot do without the coal mined that is converted to electricity and other essentials like concrete. Coal mining is not a dying occupation and will continue to be a part of our nation’s, and other nations’, energy portfolio.
