President and CEO
Jon oversees all aspects of the Company. Jon has over 35 years experience in the Coal Mining Industry. Jon has a broad range of experience of running mines in Central Appalachia for Consol Energy and most recently as the CEO of Prospect Mining in the Southern Appalachia coal field. Prior to Bronco, Jon worked for Consol Energy for over 27 years. Jon has held numerous positions from Plant Foreman, Chief Engineer, and Asst. Supt. Of the Consol of Ky. Operations to name a few. He was the Supterintendent of the Miller Creek Operation and Amonate Operation and was the Assistant Supt. Of the Buchanan Mine during his time with Consol. He also worked for Coronado Global as the Superintendent of the Buchanan Mine for over 3 years and spent the last 4 years in Alabama as the CEO of Prospect Mining. Jon has a proven track record of making mines productive with low costs. Jon graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Mining Engineering.
CFO
Shannon is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury and finance. Shannon has over 23 years of varied experience in all aspects of financial accounting, audit, revenue cycle and budget operations. Prior to Bronco, Shannon was leading her own consulting firm and had worked in various positions for New Classrooms Innovation Partners, iHeart Radio, Capitol Music Group, Warner Music Group and Kaplan Thaler. Shannon is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a BS in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.

VP Sales & Logistics
Kevin is responsible for all sales and contract administration efforts for the Company. Kevin has more than 33 years of experience in the domestic and industrial marketplace. Prior to joining Bronco, Kevin was Director of Transportation, Quality & Customer Relations & Assisted VP Sales for BRP and Canyon Fuel Company. His effective strategic planning has resulted in securing long term sales agreements. Kevin holds Bachelor of Science degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah and received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.
General Superintendent
Brad is responsible for all day to day activities at the mine. Brad has 15 years of experience in the mining industry where he has worked in production and engineering. He has worked in the Pittsburgh seven seam and in the Illinois Basin. Brad has been in several positions including Section Foreman, Project Engineer, Longwall Coordinator, and was the Engineering Manager at Bronco from 2018 to this year. Brad has a current Utah PE and is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering.
Superintendent - Maintenance
Mike is responsible for all maintenance on the surface and underground at the mine. Prior to Bronco, Utah Mike worked at Rhino for over 10 years as the maintenance superintendent where took care of the surface and the underground maintenance of #3 and #4 mines. Mike was previously at Tower Resources and West Ridge for 17 years as a maintenance Foreman and the Longwall maintenance and production coordinator. Prior to Tower, Mike worked at BHP in New Mexico for 3 years as a Longwall Maintenance foreman. Mike started in mining at a young age surveying for the family business, starting in 1978.

Bret is responsible for all day-to-day production operations here at Bronco mine. He has 18+ years of coal mining experience starting his career out of high school as a general laborer and working in almost every position including management roles as a Section, Outby, & Shift Foreman, as well as a production coordinator to where he now oversees the lifeblood of Bronco mine in 4 different production sections. He has experience with both Longwall and Continuous Miner operations and is committed to finding solutions so that coal can be mined efficiently and safely.
Keith manages the overall Health, Safety and Compliance programs along with the required record keeping and reporting for MSHA and the Company. He oversees the investigation of all accidents, incidents and occupational injuries. Keith has an extensive knowledge of Federal regulations and laws for coal mining. He has over 18 years of experience in the coal mining industry, with over nine years working in the Safety Department. Prior to joining Bronco as a Safety Coordinator, he worked for Utah American Energy at both the West Ridge and Lila Canyon Mines in positions such as CM Section Forman, Outby Forman, Safety Technician and was the Acting Safety Director at Lila Canyon for over one year. Keith attended the Utah State University Eastern in Price Utah and received an Associates Degree.
Scott manages and oversees all aspects for the HR Department. He is a well-rounded advisor with a diverse career spanning business development, real estate, and human resources. He completed his Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication and Professional Accreditation for Human Resources Management at the University of Utah. He is also a SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional). As Bronco’s Human Resources Manager, Scott plays a pivotal role in company culture transformation, talent acquisition, employee retention, and total rewards & benefits improvement.
