Diesel Mechanic
Diesel Mechanics work underground and in the repair shop, diagnosing and fixing mechanical problems on diesel-fueled vehicles and larger machines. They perform preventive measures and techniques to keep equipment up and running.
Electrician I
The Mechanic/Electrician position will assist all underground mining departments in the repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
CM Operator I
The Continuous Miner Operator operates self-propelled mining machines that rip coal, metal and nonmetal ores, rock, stone, or sand from the mine face and load it onto conveyors, shuttle cars, or trucks in a continuous operation.
Faceman I
The Faceman I position will assist all underground mining departments that are involved with production in the working faces of the mine.
Out-by Laborer
The Out-by position will assist all underground mining departments that are not involved with immediate production activities to ensure compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Bolt Roofer I
The Roof Bolter I operates machinery to install roof support bolts in the underground mine.
